The Football Association confirmed on Monday (Feb 6) that it has reached final agreement to hold its UEFA EURO 2012 pre-tournament training camp in Montecatini, Italy from May 27 to June 3, 2012.
As previously indicated, the team will depart from Dublin on May 27, the day after playing Bosnia in Aviva Stadium on May 26 and will be based in Montecatini for one week, until June 3.
Today (Tuesday), Association confirmed that it has reached final agreement with the Hungarian Football Association to play in Budapest on June 4.
The match will take place at the Puskás Ferenc stadium in the Hungarian capital.
With this confirmation, the programme for Giovanni Trapattoni's squad prior to, and during, the European Championships is as follows:
Feb 29: Republic of Ireland v Czech Republic, Aviva Stadium
May 26: Republic of Ireland v Bosnia Herzegovina, Aviva Stadium
May 27: Pre-training camp, Montecatini, Italy
June 3: Transfer from Montecatini to Budapest
June 4: Hungary v Republic of Ireland, Budapest
June 5: UEFA EURO 2012 training camp, Gdynia, Poland
June 10: Republic of Ireland v Croatia, Poznan, Poland
June 14: Spain v Republic of Ireland, Gdansk, Poland
June 18: Italy v Republic of Ireland, Poznan, Poland.
