Smith announces squad for Ireland friendly

Gerry Smith has announced his twenty man squad for the forthcoming friendly training game this coming Friday in Gannon Park against Giovanni Trapattoni's Ireland.

The fixture will be played behind closed doors and will Gerry Smith an opportunity to run the rule over players prior to the Autumn UEFA Regions Cup which will be hosted by the Association in Dublin.

The fixture also is a major coup for the Amateur game and it recognises the great strides and professionalism Gerry Smith has brought to this side of the game and is a great chance for the Amateur players to compete against Professionals.
