Football Association of Ireland
The Football Association of Ireland is the governing body of football in Ireland. Our game is being developed and supported by the FAI and its associates; clubs, affiliates and leagues, in every townland, city street and community across Ireland, in line with our mission to foster, develop and promote football.

Our goal is to continue to increase participation in all sections of the community through our members, voluntary and executive, working with the many stakeholders who enjoy and support our sport.

The President of the Football Association of Ireland, Mr. David Blood, the Chief Executive, Mr. John Delaney, the Officer Board and Staff wish to extend every good wish for Christmas to our Football Family, to the players, to our stake-holders, our supporters and the huge army of volunteers who ensure the continued growth of our game throughout the country.

FAI extend condolences on death of Frank Brady

The Football Association of Ireland extends it sincere condolences to Republic of Ireland assistant manager Liam Brady and his family, following the death of his brother Frank Brady who passed away today, following a long battle with cancer.

Frank had a lifelong involvement in football and played with Stella Maris and Home Farm. He went on to play for Shamrock Rovers and was part of the Shamrock Rovers FAI Cup winning side of 1968, as well as playing professionally in Australia.

Frank is survived by his wife Margaret and his children Liam and Eamonn. On behalf of everyone involved in Irish football, we extend our sincere condolences to the Brady family.
