One of the most coveted trophies for Intermediate clubs in Ireland, the FAI Intermediate Cup has a proud history. The final of the 2008/'09 competition saw Crumlin United defeat Bluebell United 3-2 at Tallaght Stadium. The 2009/'10 final will take place on Sunday, May 9.

Leinster Senior League side, Crumlin today (Sunday) became only the sixth team in history to claim a successive FAI Umbro Intermediate Challenge Cup after they defeated Avondale United 3-1 in a competitive final in Dalymount Park.
