Played for St Patrick's Athletic and Danish side Fortuna Hjorring before joining Arsenal in 2000 where she has won every honour in England on several occasions as well as the UEFA Women's Cup in 2007. Has represented Ireland at every level and was FAI International Player of the Year in 2012. Team captain. Won her 100th cap against Croatia in September 2013.

 Former under-age international goalkeeper who won Bus Éireann Women’s National League with Raheny United in 2012-13 and 2013-14 and FAI Umbro Women’s Cup in 2012 and 2013. Won her first cap as a half-time substitute against South Korea in March. Helped Raheny United reach the last 32 of 2014-15 Women’s Champions League. Has also represented Ireland in international diving events and carried the Olympic Torch through Dublin in 2012.



Grace Moloney

Grace was one of the real success stories from the Ireland U17 team that went to the World Cup in 2010. She is a goalkeeper of huge potential and has started the 2015 World Cup campaign as understudy to Emma Byrne before a shoulder injury halted her progress and forced her to miss the 2014 Cyprus Cup.

A sister of Shannon. Qualifies through her Mayo-born grandfather. After graduating from the University of Illinois she played for Boston Renegades in the 2008 W-League season scoring four goals in five games. Now in her second spell with the Chicago Red Stars. Made her international debut against USA in 2008.

From Limerick, she previously played for Lifford and St Patrick's Athletic before joining Arsenal in 2000 and has been an integral part of the London club's dominance of the English scene as well as being involved in their UEFA Women's Cup triumph in 2007. Was FAI International Player of the Year in 2002.




Louise Quinn

This versatile 24-year-old joined Peamount United in 2004 and made her way through the ranks to eventually help them qualify for the last 32 of the UEFA Women’s Champions League in 2011. She captained the side to the inaugural Women's National League Championship in 2012, Moved to Swedish club Eskilstuna United in 2013 and helped them win promotion and league title in her first season. Was Ireland’s Player of the Year in 2013. Was first player in Group 1 to score against Germany in this World Cup qualifying campaign.

Megan Campbell

Helped Raheny United to the 2013 Women's National League title and 2012 FAI Umbro Women's Senior Cup. A free-kick and long throw specialist who scored her first senior goal against Northern Ireland. Member of the 2010 U17 side which reached the European Championship final and World Cup quarter-finals. Moved to Florida State University on scholarship in summer of 2013 and provided the assists for Ireland’s two goals against European champions Germany. Currently recovering from a foot injury that has sidelined her for four months.




Meabh de Burca

Former underage international who played at the 2007 World University Games. Won FAI Women’s Senior Cup with Galway in 2007. Captained Salthill Devon to FAI Women’s Intermediate Cup in 2008. Earned scholarship to University of New Haven followed by spells with Amazon Grimstad and Eskilstuna United, where she won a Swedish league title, before returning to Galway last December where her performances earned her a place on the Team of the Season.







Dora Gorman

The 21-year-old UCD medical student missed most of the 2012-13 season because of injury but impressed at the World University Games in 2013 and showed at the 2014 Cyprus Cup that she is now back to her best. From Galway, she starred for Salthill Devon and was also captain of Ireland’s highly successful U17 team in 2010.

Rachel Graham

The 24-year-old made her senior international debut against South Korea at the Cyprus Cup in March 2013 having been previously capped at U19 level. She was part of the Raheny United team that has won back to back Women's National League titles as well as the FAI Women's Senior Cup in 2012 and 2013 and was a key member of the squad that came through their recent Women’s Champions League qualifying group.  


Ruesha Littlejohn

A quick and deadly finisher, Ruesha previously represented Scotland at underage level. Had a spell at Liverpool and scored her first senior international goal in the 5-1 win over Northern Ireland at the 2013 Cyprus Cup. Helped Glasgow City reach the last 16 of the 2013-14 Women’s Champions League before moving to Sandviken in Norway. Scored in Ireland’s last game at the Cyprus Cup against World No.7 Canada.






Shannon Smyth

Shannon won her first cap in 2010 against Holland and has been a regular in the squad ever since. Played for University of Louisville and American W-League side FC Indiana before joining Norwegian club Donn Toppfotball and then Amazon Grimstad. Can play in midfield or up front. Her only international goal came at the 2013 Cyprus Cup against Northern Ireland. Nominated for 2013 senior player of the year award. Caps: 30. Goals: 1



Aine O'Gorman

Started with home club Enniskerry and has since played for Stella Maris, Doncaster Rovers and Peamount United before her summer move to UCD Waves. Has won FAI U14, U16, U18 and Senior Cup medals and also the Women’s National League Cup. Scored a hat-trick in the 2010 FAI Umbro Women’s final. The versatile 25-year-old can play in defence, midfield or up front. Scored at the 2014 Cyprus Cup against New Zealand and also managed to find the net 24 times last season in the National League. Made National League Team of the Year




Sophie Perry

A former Chelsea and Brighton player who now plays for Millwall. She represented England up to U23 level before choosing to play for Ireland and made her debut at the 2012 Algarve Cup against Wales. The 27-year-old defender was part of the Ireland squad at the World University Games last summer and the recent Cyprus Cup tournament. Caps: 17. Goals: 0.




Fiona O'Sullivan

The 27-year-old American born striker is currently playing in England after spells in Sweden, France and Germany. A graduate of the University of San Francisco who was drafted by WPS side Chicago Redstars in 2010 and then had a spell at California Storm. A strong player who leads the line well and is the top scorer in the current squad with her latest goal coming last May against Russia.

Niamh Fahey

Recently returned to action after being out for over a year with a cruciate ligament injury and won an English FA Cup winners medal with Arsenal in what was only her second 90 minutes of the season. A versatile player who can play across the back four and in midfield. Previously played for Salthill Devon. Although only 25, she has been named Senior International Player of the Year on three occasions in the past. Caps: 49. Goals: 0



Julie-Ann Russell

The Galway girl previously played for Doncaster Belles and Salthill Devon. Scored the winning goal in Salthill’s FAI Women’s U16 Cup win in 2007 and was on Galway’s FAI Women’s Senior Cup winning team. Made her senior debut in 2009. Was U19 Player of the Year in 2010 and nominated for the 2013 senior award. Helped Peamount to the 2011-12 Women’s National League title and the 2013 League Cup. Named 2013-14 National League Player of the Year. Her brother John plays for Sligo Rovers in the SSE Airtricity League.



Diane Caldwell

Diane plays her club football in Norway but has also enjoyed periods playing in the USA, Iceland and with Raheny United in Ireland. She is an experienced player and is a commanding presence in either midfield or defence. She scored her first international goal against Northern Ireland at the Cyprus Cup.

From Piltown, Co Kilkenny, the 23-year-old former University Limerick student won her first senior cap in the 2013 Cyprus Cup against South Africa having played numerous times at underage international level. Helped Peamount United win the 2013 Bus Eireann Women’s National League Cup and Ireland to sixth place at the 2013 World University Games. Named on National League Team of the Year.

The 26–year-old was voted Player of the Year in the Bus Eireann National Women's League in 2012 and 2013 and finished last season as top scorer with 28 goals. A Maynooth University student she helped Peamount to the League and Cup double in 2012 and the League Cup in 2013. Also made the Ireland squad for the 2013 World University Games. Currently sidelined with a long-term knee injury




Seana Cooke

The 26-year-old, former St Francis player, helped Raheny United to the Women's National League and FAI Women's Umbro Cup in 2012-13. She made her international debut against Northern Ireland in the Cyprus Cup 2013 and was part of Ireland's squad at the 2013 World University Games. Joined Durham Women's FC in November 2013 but her spell there was hampered by injury. Has now signed for UCD Waves.

Grace returned to the Ireland squad for the Cyprus Cup in 2013 and featured against South Africa. Has played nine UEFA Champions League games with St Francis and Peamount United. Also won an FAI Women's Cup medal with her home town club, Dundalk.

A key player for Raheny United in their recent domination of the Women’s National League and FAI Umbro Women’s Cup and last week helped them to the last 32 of the Women’s Champions League. The 21-year-old is another member of the 2010 U17 squad to graduate to the senior squad. Was impressive at last year’s World Student Games in Kazan and made an immediate impact on her debut as a substitute against New Zealand at the Cyprus Cup in March. Made her competitive debut against Russia in May.


Deirdre Doherty

Her performances during the 2012-13 season for IT Sligo earned her a late call-up to the Cyprus Cup squad and her impressive performances have so far earned her three caps. Was part of the Irish squad at the 2013 World University Games.

Another member of the breakthrough 2010 U17 squad she captained the U19 squad which narrowly failed to qualify for the 2013 European Championship. Played in the Bus Éireann Women’s National League for two seasons and made the Team of the Season in 2012. Joined Glasgow City last June and helped them qualify for the last 16 in the Women’s Champions League. Is top scorer in the current World Cup qualifying campaign with three goals and also bagged one at the Cyprus Cup in March.

Stephanie Roche

.Former U17 and U19 international striker who made her senior debut in the Euro play-off against Iceland in October 2008. Scored her first senior goal in a World Cup qualifier against Kazakhstan the following year. From Shankhill, Co Dublin, she started her career with Valeview and played for Cabinteely Girls, Stella Maris, Dundalk City and Raheny United before joining Peamount 2011. Scored a record 71 goals in the first three seasons of the Women's National League winning the Golden Boots in 2011-12 and 2013-14. Her first goal of the 2013-14 campaign against Wexford Youths has become a You Tube sensation attracting almost 2.4million hits. Moved this summer to French Ligue 1 side ASPITT Albi.

From Donegal, she won the 2009 FAI Women’s Intermediate Cup with Kilmacrennan Celtic and was part of the successful international U17 team in 2010. Claimed Women’s National League and FAI Women’s Senior Cup medals with Raheny United in 2012-13 and 2013-14. Became the first women to score a goal at the Aviva Stadium during the 2013 FAI Umbro Women’s Cup Final. Gained first senior cap against USA in November 2012 and was part of the 2013 and 2014 Cyprus Cup squads. A UCD medical student.


Sue Ronan

Former Shelbourne and Welsox player who was also an Irish international and won the FAI Senior Women's International Player of the Year in 1993. She managed the U19 international team before succeeding Noel King upon his appointment as men's U21 team manager in 2010. She is a UEFA A licence coach and is currently studying for her Pro Licence. Is also Head of Women's Football at the FAI.
