
Ireland's top international football stars were honoured on Sunday at the 21st 3/FAI International Football Awards which took place at RTÉ studios, Donnybrook, Dublin 4.

Wolves striker, Kevin Doyle scooped two awards as he was crowned the Senior International Player of the Year while his goal against EURO 2012 opponents, Andorra was voted the 3 International Goal of the Year.
Reading's Shane Long captured the Young International Player of the Year, Seamus Coleman was crowned the U21 Player of the Year while Gary Twigg was voted the Airtricity League Player of the year.
The Republic of Ireland Women's U17 squad were awarded the Special Merit Award for their successful FIFA Women's World Cup campaign as they came agonisingly close to glory in Trinidad and Tobago last September, eventually falling a 2-1 defeat to eventual finalists, Japan in the quarter finals.
Former Republic of Ireland striker, Frank Stapleton was inducted into the FAI Hall of Fame while Wales and Liverpool record goal scorer, Ian Rush was awarded the 3/FAI International Personality of the Year.
