Republic of Ireland manager, Giovanni Trapattoni, today (Tuesday July 27) announced a 28 man squad who will take on Argentina in the first international game in Aviva stadium on August 11 (kick off 7.45pm).
Giovanni Trapattoni said, "It will be a special occasion for everyone to be involved in the first ever game in Aviva stadium and Argentina will be a test for our players. The game comes at a crucial time in our preparation for the European Championship qualifying campaign and we must use it to strengthen our squad for the opening qualifiers against Armenia and Andorra in September."
