Aviva Stadium represents the single largest infrastructural programme in the history of the Football Association of Ireland. Opened on schedule and within budget in 2010, the Association are joint owners along with its partners in the IRFU.  The investment in Aviva Stadium will in future provide steady funding for the grassroots of our game and gives everyone involved in Irish football a place to call home.

Top international award for Aviva Stadium

Last night (Wednesday, 12 October, 2011) at the British Industry Construction Awards the Aviva Stadium won the International Category. The British Construction Industry International category is open to projects outside the United Kingdom for which a UK based British firm has made a significant contribution. Consulting engineers Buro Happold were part of the Aviva Stadium project team which also included Populous, Scott Tallon Walker and PM Group.
