Carlisle Grounds to host Bobby Smith Cup Final
The final of the Bobby Smith FAS/FAI National Cup takes place at the Carlisle Grounds, Bray on Monday 30th July at 2.30pm.
The Booby Smith Cup is contested by the FAI/FAS education centres with the teams competing on a league basis. The top 2 teams have now emerged from the group to compete in the final.
The 2 Dublin centres Cabra and Irishtown will battle it out for the inaugural trophy. Both finished with 8 points a piece after four games.
There is an abundance of talent on view with players from the Premier, First and the u19 Airtricity League taking part. The Cup which is in its first year of competition is called after Bray favourite and FAI coach who had to retire from the Irishtown course due to ill health.
