Wilton United this afternoon claimed the FAI Umbro Intermediate Cup final in front of a good crowd of 300 people in O'Shea Park Killarney. The first half remained goalless despite a number of efforts on both sides with Peamount looking threatening on the break.

In the second half however, player of the match Amy O'Connor broke the deadlock after as the Cork club started to gain the upper hand, scoring the only goal of the match with a volley clipped across the keeper into the bottom left corner. Wilton United 1-0 Peamount United.
