The annual Women's FAI UMBRO Gaynor Cup competitions bring representative teams together to compete in three different age categories. The tournaments provide the Republic of Ireland international team managers with an opportunity to identify potential members of Ireland's international teams.

University of Limerick was a hive of activity over the Bank Holiday weekend as 18 schoolgirls leagues took part in the Gaynor Inter-league competition. This being the second year, the Gaynor Cup has taken an inter-league format, and once again the standard didn’t disappoint.
