This is an annual competition which attracts entries from all areas of Ireland. The 2008/'09 competition was won by St. Kieran's College, Kilkenny, who beat Carndonagh Community School in the final.

Limerick CBS defeat Sligo

Limerick's sole striker Soran Abid was the star for Sexton Street, CBS with two goals apiece in either half to over-power a skilful Summerhill side in Salthill Devon last Wednesday (21 April) in the UMBRO FAI Schools Minor (U14) Boys All Ireland Semi Final.

Letterkenny overhaul Lucan

Ninety minutes of competitive play was not enough for these two Schools to end the deadlock and a dreaded penalty shootout was to prove the ultimate dismissal for Colaiste Phadraig, Lucan CBS as Letterkenny lad's St. Eunan's dominated the spot kicks in the UMBRO FAI Schools Minor (U14) Boys All Ireland Semi Final.

Results 2009

 St. Kieran's College, Kilkenny, won the FAI Umbro Schools' Junior Boys National title for the first time when they defeated Carndonagh Community School in the 2009 final.
