
The FAI Umbro Junior Cup is the biggest Cup competition in Ireland and one of the biggest in Europe. The victory of Fairview Rangers in the 2010 final brought the trophy to Limerick and Pike Rovers ensured it stayed there for another twelve months at least when they beat St. Michael's (Tipperary) in the 2010/'11 final at Turner's Cross.

Kilbarrack Utd and Sheriff YC created history over the Easter weekend in getting to the FAI Umbro Junior Cup final after excellent wins over Clonmel Celtic and Ballymun Utd, the pair will meet on the weekend of the 6th of May, the venue for which will be confirmed later this week. It has been a remarkable year for the Dublin AUL after retaining the Oscar Traynor Trophy last month, they now have two teams competing for the top prize in Junior football the FAI Junior Cup.
