
The FAI Junior Cup in association with Umbro and Aviva is the biggest cup competition in Ireland and one of the largest in Europe. The current holders of the trophy are Sheriff Youth Club from the Athletic Union League Dublin. They defeated fellow AUL side Kilbarrack United 3-1 in the 2011-12 final at Tolka Park to claim the trophy for the first time. The final of the 2012-13 competition will be held on June 2 at the Aviva Stadium for the first time. A total of 554 teams set out on the Road to the Aviva in September 2012.
