Affiliated Leagues

Football is played in every corner of Ireland and there is a club and a league within reach of every potential participant. Clubs are always on the lookout for new players, coaches and volunteers so if you want to get involved, all you have to do is contact your local junior league, youth league, women's league or schoolboy/schoolgirl league and they will put you in touch with your nearest club.

Schoolboy clubs are affiliated to the Schoolboy Football Association of Ireland and cater for all ages from U16 down.

Youth leagues bridge the gap between schoolboy and adult football. 37 leagues provide football for adult players at junior and intermediate level. Lastly the League of Ireland caters for the elite player with four divisions, Premier, First, A championship and U20.

There are also a number of women's leagues around the country which are affiliated to the Women's Football Association of Ireland.
