Each week over 450,000 people participate in football in Ireland and the vast majority of these are involved at grassroots level. The FAI oversees the running of national competitions for the different strands of the game and runs Summer Soccer Schools and a Club of the Month competition in addition to an Intercultural programme.

DDSL retain SFAI Umbro Kennedy Cup

DUBLIN & District Schoolboys Leagues once again secured the SFAI Umbro Kennedy Cup after a 2-0 victory over 2011 champions North Dublin Schoolboys/girls League at the University of Limerick today.
